AD*Star / AD proTex Sacks

Polypropylene Laminated Woven Block Bottom AD*Star® / AD proTex Valve Sacks are ideal replacement of Kraft Paper Bags. These sacks are used in packaging Cement, Powdered Chemicals, Silica Sand, Wax Products, Food Grains, Master Batches, PVC Compound, and Mining Products etc. These sacks are used where filling is done thru funnel. Advantages of Ad*Star / AD proTex sacks:

  • Strong sacks having almost zero burstage
  • Resistant to humid conditions
  • Valve for easy filling
  • Eco friendly
  • Economical
  • Recyclable and reusable
  • Excellent non fading printing enhancing the packaging look
  • Cannot be tampered as is hermetically sealed
  • Can withstand rough and multiple handling. Ideal for export where multiple handling occurs to and from load port to discharging port and final destination

Conventional WPP Bags

Woven Polypropylene open mouth bags are closed on one side of the tube, by sewing. The high quality materials and types of construction offered provide a longer shelf life for your products. For special protection via a barrier, WPP open mouth bags are also available with PE-Inner liner to protect the product. Open mouth bags are used for a vast number of applications, primarily used to hold feed, grain, grass seed, fertilizer, sugar, beans, rice, gravel and coal in the construction, chemical, agriculture, mining and building materials industries. These bags can also be used as sandbags for flood control

ADVANTAGES OF WPP BAGS

  • High Tensile Strength is a result of tape stretching process.
  • Palletization facilitates easy handling, compact storage and efficient transportation.
  • Side Gusseted allows better stacking and appearance on pallets.
  • Environment Friendly because these bags are made of degradable thermoplastic material.

Jumbo Bags FIBC

Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC) are widely used for storage, transportation and handling of powder, flake or granular materials. Typically they are constructed from woven polypropylene (PP) fabric in the form of cubic bags. The fabric used may be a single layer, with extra loose liner, or laminated. The UV treated PP is a good electrical insulator. Due to this, during filling and discharge time there is a steady accumulation of charge, within the product, which is transferred to the walls of the bag. If left unchecked this static build-up may result in spark discharges from the surface of the FIBC or the charging of adjacent isolated conductors such as people or unearthed metal, by induction. Couple this with the risk of power being thrown in to atmosphere to ignite resulting in a fire on an explosion. Such an occurrence would most likely lead to injury and major damage to the plant and environment. Types Of Jumbo Bags:

(i) Jumbo A (Regular FIBC)

This are the standard FIBC used by industry who are filling and discharging products with no static problems.

(ii) Jumbo B Anti-static Bag

These are manufactured from regular PP fabric by adopting special technique to keep the fabric break down. Voltage less than 6 kv as per standard IEC 61340 4 – 4

(iii) Jumbo Earth (Conductive Bag)

Jumbo Type C Conductive bags are made from fine conductive threads. An antistatic bag, or conductive bag, is a shipping bag for electronic devices which can be affected by electrostatic.
These plastic bags normally and have a distinctive color according to its properties:

  • Silver for metalized PET film and other similar plastics
  • Pink or black for polyethylene

* The polyethylene model can also be made as foam or bubble wrap, either as sheets or bags.
To create the anti-static effect, the black bags or silver bags are slightly conductive, forming what is known as a Faraday Cage around the item to be protected avoiding any discharges from being deposited onto the protected devices as the bags are handled.

(iv) Jumbo Stat (Dissipative Bag)

It is a special type of bag that doesn’t store static electricity. Static is a deadly to electronics. Dissipative properties should be tested as per standard IEC / ISO 61340- 4 -
